'Declaration
<NotNullAttribute()> Public Function FromResource( _ ByVal resourceDescriptor As ResourceDescriptor _ ) As ValueResult(Of TValue)
'Usage
Dim instance As StreamLoader(Of TValue) Dim resourceDescriptor As ResourceDescriptor Dim value As ValueResult(Of TValue) value = instance.FromResource(resourceDescriptor)
[NotNull()] public ValueResult<TValue> FromResource( ResourceDescriptor resourceDescriptor )
[NotNull()] public: ValueResult<TValue^>^ FromResource( ResourceDescriptor^ resourceDescriptor )
Parameters
- resourceDescriptor
- The resource descriptor to load the value from.
Because the OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor has implicit conversions from System.String and System.Uri, in languages that support implicit conversion operators (such as C# or VB.NET), you can simply use a string (usually representing the resource URL), or a System.Uri object, in place of this parameter, and the corresponding resource descriptor will be constructed automatically. When the implicit conversion operators are not supported (such as with Python.NET), you can use the OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor.FromString or OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor.FromUri static method instead.
The value of this parameter cannot be
null
(Nothing
in Visual Basic).
Return Value
This method never returns null
(Nothing
in Visual Basic).
